MISC. SHOTS AS WE COME TO THE END

The team likes to support local Waveland businesses and went out for a seafood dinner their last evening in Waveland.
Mel gets a paper sandwich for lunch! It's a long story ...... but folks get silly as the last day approaches. The homeowners have so many clever ways to make the best of their situations. One of the homeowners gets a picture of each volunteer that works on their home with this deer head. The deer head went through the storm and is in pretty bad shape but she decorates it for each season, complete with hats and the works. What a great attitude! What goes around comes around, Henry!!!!! This one is for you Beany!
The workteams had races with the game of "Operation" as we approached the end of our trip. Although ALL the workteams are winners with their work projects, we saw the competitive side come out in a few people with this race.
Todd caught a little lizard and it was content to be on his shoulder for a while.
Ms. Betty's 78th birthday. She was such a joy to us this week that we decided to get her a little cake and a balloon. We are praying that we get to connect with her again next year and see her home once it is completed. We met her son-in-law, Joey, which nice too. Some of Betty's children will work on her home now that the drywalling is almost complete. It's really an awesome example of teamwork! When we all do our share things get done :-)
