SUNDAY IN WORSHIP AND IN NEW ORLEANS

THE GANG HAD A GREAT TIME TODAY!!!

We went to worship at Main Street U.M.C. in Waveland this morning and met their new Pastor, Heather Hensarling. She gave a great sermon and we enjoyed it very much. The music was fabulous too! Then we went into New Orleans for a fun day before we begin work tomorrow. Many of us are anxious to get to work helping the homeowners but it's also nice to have some team time bonding and having fun.

Here we are on the playground at the church. They are doing construction in the front of the church replace the steeple, which was knocked off during Hurricane Katrina.

Chris, Henry, Chloe, Sarah and Gary were having fun after church, while Todd & Colley went to the Audubon Aguarium .

Gordy was having a little fun with some shopping. He took his time to find just the right color boa.

We aren't really sure what this woman was all about but she was entertaining to watch.
